Client: The Spicery in Bristol

I worked at The Spicery as an In-House Designer until August this year. The Spicery is a medium-size company based in Bristol.  They are experts in blending spices and creating delicious recipes. I established the brand identity, ensuring that the brand was consistency and easy to identify. I wanted to create an identity brimming with colour and life, a visual celebration of the diversity of cultures.

I designed a hard-cover cookbook - How to be a Curry Legend - which included four unique spice blends in individual containers. I designed two different formats for this product: a tin and a box. In addition I designed other cookbooks, including Big Night In, consisting of 40 recipes , and Curry Legend World Curries, consisting of 80 recipes from around the world.

The image on the left shows how The Spicery's Instagram account looks now. I proposed to have a colourful and vibrant style that remained constant. The number of Instagram followers increased dramatically.The one on the right shows the Instagram account when I started working there.
